Concept
Combining buildings with solar power generation the site area is optimized and allows for more built areas, driving up property value and reducing operating costs.
Challenges
The main challenge of the development was to create a functional site with double layer of security. In addition, the construction must be sustainable, generate electricity, store energy in battery packs and provide emergency power. The site was also required to manage stormwater onsite, and reduce the domestic water consumption.
Solutions
We developed a resilient and sustainable framework that meets the development requirements throughout the design, construction and operation. Low Impact Development measures were also implemented.
